BMaybe you have visited Prince Edward Island and have marvelled at the expanse of blue sky and rolls of harvested hay, and an iconic lighthouse in the background. Take it home with this original vintage limited-edition, numbered poster showing the Cape Tryon Lighthouse at Park Corner, Prince Edward Island, issued by Prince Edward Island Tourism (undated).
The poster is signed on the plate by PEI-based photographer John Sylvester, an internationally published travel, nature and landscape photographer known for his photographs of the island. Pencilled text at bottom right of this limited-edition poster indicates "206/2000". Size: approx. 19 inches x 27 inches (48.26 cm x 68.58 cm)
Condition: Excellent / near mint condition.
The Cape Tryon Lighthouse sits atop a cliff to the north of the tiny fishing village of French River, guiding mariners and their vessels along the northern coast of Prince Edward Island between Richmond Bay and New London. Built in 1967, it is the second lighthouse on the site.
This is the original limited-edition poster, not a reproduction! Bananastrudel sells only originals.
