Download this high-resolution JPG image of a China scene, showing devotees consulting the sticks of fate.
Drawn from original and authentic sketches by the English architect and artist, Thomas Allom, ESQ. who travelled extensively in China, and captured daily life in the Ancient Empire in his series of engravings, the original print is from the publication "China, In a Series of Views, Displaying The Scenery, Architecture, & Social Habits, of That Ancient Empire". Published in 1842 by Fisher & Son Co., London.
The original rare print was sold on our sister Etsy store, Bananastrudel, and is no longer available at that shop. This scanned image, however, provides an opportunity to get a digital copy of the print. (The watermark does not appear on the downloaded image.)
The downloadable image (file size: about 6MB) is 6404 x 4878 pixels, suitable for a high-quality print of at least 21 inches x 16 inches. Print, mat, and frame -- or use in your collage or artwork.
Please note: This is NOT a physical item to be shipped to you. It is a DIGITAL file for downloading.
