2004 Vintage Poster of Canoeing in the Rockies - United Airlines - Travel Aviation Kayaking Canadiana

An original vintage poster showing the Canadian Rockies, issued by United Airlines in 2004. The illustration is by Canadian artist Jody Hewgill, who comments (in text on the reverse side of the poster): "So many stunning places come to mind, but for me, Canada's splendor is best expressed by the magnificent Rockies."

Size: approx. 22 inches x 28 inches (55.88 cm x 71.12 cm).

Condition: Excellent / near mint condition. Slight, unobtrusive creases on one edge as shown in the second photo.

The text on the reverse side of the poster reads: "A native of Montreal, Quebec, artist Jody Hewgill graduated from the Ontario College of Art & Design before establishing a career in Toronto. Since 1988, her evocative and iconic imagery has been featured for advertisers, book publishers and retail stores across the world.

"Jody's award-winning illustrations are influenced by a diverse group of artists including regionalist painters Thomas Hart Benton and Grant Wood, Picasso, and even renaissance artists Raphael and Botticelli. In addition to enjoying numerous accolades and exhibitions, several of Jody's posters are included in the Permanent Poster Collection of the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.
