What could be more magical than a night scene with fireworks? An original vintage 1965 poster for the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, signed on the plate by renowned Danish artist Des Asmussen (1913-2004).

The Tivoli Gardens, inaugurated in 1843, is a famous amusement park and garden in Copenhagen, Denmark, and has been called the third-oldest operating amusement park in the world. (The second oldest is also in Denmark!) Size: approx. 24.4 inches x 39.4 inches (61.98 cm x 100.08 cm)

Condition: EXCELLENT. Near mint condition with very minor unobtrusive creases in some corners, not affecting the poster image. No tears, no paper loss, no pinholes.

Posters like this were published as part of the annual publicity campaign of the Tivoli Gardens. Each year's poster featured the work of a Danish artist.
